Sweet Finley. She came into the world a bit early, but I think she was just excited to meet her lovely parents who love her endlessly.
She just was the tiniest little thing who kept throwing her hands in the air. You can see how content she was snoozing with her little palm by her face. I love photographing newborns with just gentle posing, how they would normally sleep. It’s natural yet with tiny adjustments and a couple tricks up my sleeve still simply beautiful with gorgeous light and flattering angles.
As a new parent, you have enough to worry about beyond searching for an outfit for a rapidly changing body. Or wondering which way to tilt your head or which angle is flattering.

Show up at the studio and pick out a gown. I have tons that are flowy in all the right spots for this transitional phase. Snacks and water are available when nursing makes your tummy grumble or your toddler just needs some extra boost. I’m there along the way, watching your newborn for cues as to what they’re ready for, and for you and how you’re feeling during this emotional time. I’ll be making sure you look your best and have constant guidance on what to do to keep the session running smoothly and ensure your portraits depict the magic you feel with this little miracle.
