It was such a joy to spend the afternoon with these two little loves. Xander was full of so much energy and love and Amelia only had eyes for him. The bond between siblings is truly amazing to watch. Little ones love so fiercely and are so pure with their emotions they make us feel things in an intensity we haven’t felt in years. Having only one child myself, seeing the dynamic relationship with these siblings was so incredible. They just KNOW they belong together. It’s messy, they aren’t perfect to each other, but they are perfectly themselves.

As an adult we forget how simple things are as kids. My goal is always to capture that simplicity and honesty they expel. I want to take pictures of it all: the joy, the roughhouse playing, and even the tears. (Check out this blog post for some serious tears).
