Photographing your baby’s first year should be a priority, not an afterthought. That’s why I designed my Milestones Collection, to make this process simple for moms.

I work with many first time moms, and the thing I hear time and time again is how shocked they are at how quickly their infant is growing. Even three weeks after their session at their ordering appointment they exlaim “Look how tiny they were! You’re so big now buddy!”. Within the first 4 weeks (very generally speaking here) your baby has grown ~25% bigger since birth. By four months they’ve doubled in size. DOUBLED. How wild and amazing is that? They are now smiling, laughing, and engaging with you in a much more meaningful way (AKA: beyond a food source and a pillow). They have much better neck control and are pushing up. We’re talking about a completely different experience than those sleepy newborn days.

When I see my clients again for their first birthday session I ALWAYS  hear some variation of  “I just didn’t realize how quickly that time was going to go, and how much my baby was going to change within that first year.”

My Milestone Collective clients are sentimental, and understand the tension of experiencing such joy at the growth of your child, and also sadness by it. They’ve invested in multiple sessions with me because they know these moments won’t last, but their portraits will. The Milestone Collective is a package of 3 or 4 sessions over an 18 month period, that enables clients to save on their session fees while planning ahead to save themselves the time and energy of rebooking sessions. Professional hair and makeup by the incredibly talented Le Reve Makeup & Hair along with access to my studio wardrobe means that they have nothing additional to invest in preparing for their session. It’s easy to stay on top of those milestones before your baby undoubtably changes again. In addition, all milestone clients receive an album credit to build their baby book and 25 birth announcements. It’s safe to say the membership pays for it self. But beyond that, my milestone clients are so special to me because I get to watch their baby grow with them. I get to watch them grow as parents. They become my friends. I invest in my Milestone Collective clients, and therefor I can only take a limited amount of them a year. At the time of writing this, there are only 10 spots left for 2023.

I am really passionate about photographing baby’s first year. It’s special in a way that I can’t always articulate well, but as a mom myself I know the complex feelings in me that arise at the growth of my own children.
