Writing this blog post to you sipping some delightful English garden tea and reminiscing of this summer. I was looking for something distinctly European for our last photography session in England. I found there was this beautiful, abbey ruins on the outskirts of Oxford and I knew I’d found what I was looking for.

We arrived a little earlier then I had anticipated and the sun was still pretty high in the sky. I had to think and adjust my plans for the session a bit, but it resulted in these dreamy hazy lovely summer pictures. Miss Aurora was feeling much less cooperative for this sessions versus our sunrise session a few weeks prior. Sometimes it’s just harder when you’ve had a whole day to wear on you. Although we ended with fewer pictures from this session, they are some of my absolute favorite. They immediately bring me back to our special time in England this summer. Images filled with dream like sunshine and magical looking ancient walls are exactly how I remember Oxford.
