How glorious is this growing family? I was so reticent to get maternity pictures when I was pregnant, but as a photographer they are honestly some of my favorite pictures to take. There’s so much joy in them. This sense of excitement, wonder, and hope just permeates every image.
I am so excited for my sweet friend as they prepare to welcome their baby girl this winter. It is such an honor they chose me again to photograph her first portraits for her newborn session.
Supporting mommas, getting them in front of the camera, and being able to gift them with beautiful memories is so important to me. I want them to be able to look back and show their babies as they grow what they looked like together, to tell them stories that go along with those pictures. Preserving their littleness and uniqueness is my favorite part of this job. You can’t get the time back momma’s, but you can relive and remember it.
