This session is so dear to my heart. This momma has been my best friend since we lived next to each other freshman year of college. I don’t really like thinking about how long ago that was now, but let’s just say we’ve been friends for a (very) long time now. We’ve been there for each other through most of our major life events at this point and I just am so grateful for her friendship and presence in my life.

To have the honor of photographing her wonderful family as they prepared to welcome their baby girl is a dream come true. We don’t live close to each other by any means, and they made a special trip to Columbus to have me do their maternity session. I was so worried about the weather (you know how fickle Ohio can be) as I just had a vision of a golden light soaked session for them. I probably refreshed the weather page 1000 times leading up to their session, but goodness did my field deliver. It was not scorchingly hot and we had the most beautiful cotton candy clouds and golden light.

I cannot wait to meet this new little angel. She is already loved beyond measure.
